Cybernet-SlashSupport (CSS) Strikes 'Preferred Partner' Agreement With IBM to Deploy IBM's "Desktop of the Future" in Indian and US Markets

CHENNAI, INDIA--(Marketwire - June 6, 2007) - Cybernet-SlashSupport (CSS), the leading provider of Technology Operations Management and Support Solutions, announced that it has been chosen as a preferred partner to deploy IBM's new Open Client solution in the Indian and US markets.

As a preferred partner, CSS will promote and offer services around the innovative IBM solution. To help customers deploy the solution, CSS will offer services such as jumpstart, end user segmentation, value assessment, application migration, pilot management and deployment, and ongoing support. CSS will provide a dedicated team to support the collaborative solutions and middleware on Linux

IBM's Open Client Solution is for customers of any size or industry that can help their employees better collaborate, improve productivity, and lower the total cost of information technology ownership. The solution addresses customer demand to improve interoperability and provide more choice to run different vendors' products that work together. Customers will now have the opportunity to run a mix of Lotus, open source, and other commercial software products -- running on Linux, Microsoft Windows, or even Macintosh -- on PCs, desktops and other devices.
