Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows® Presented by Toyota Opens Today

New Bikes, Scooters, Demo Rides, New Rider Seminars, Street Bike Stunt Show and More

SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwire - December 19, 2008) - The Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows® presented by Toyota rolls into the San Mateo County Event Center Friday, December 19 through Sunday, December 21 as part of a 13-city nationwide tour. This motorcycle extravaganza is an all-access pass to the world of motorcycling with hundreds of the latest street bikes, dirt bikes, cruisers and scooters for both new and experienced riders. Several manufacturers will offer attendees an up-close look at the latest in fuel efficient transportation with hundreds of new vehicles that get 50-plus miles to the gallon -- there has never been a better time to ride!

Following is a brief description of the exciting new features:

--  World's Fastest Motorcycle on Tour - The 'Ack Attack' motorcycle
    recently broke the land-speed racing world record posting an astonishing
    360.913 mph run.
--  Scooter Pavilion Presented by GEICO Powersports - From the Piaggio MP3
    three-wheeler to the all-electric Vectrix scooter, this is the place to see
    and learn about all the latest high mileage transportation options.
--  Team No Limit Stunt Show with Jason Britton from SpeedTV - exciting
    street bike stunts including exciting wheelies, stoppies and acrobatic
--  Demo Rides - Licensed motorcyclists who bring their own riding gear
    can test drive the hottest new street bikes.
--  The Hub - This new area will be jam-packed with new bike unveilings,
    informative speakers and new rider seminars.
--  Explore Motorcycling New Rider's Welcome Center.

The show will be open to the public Friday, December 19 through Sunday, December 21, at the San Mateo County Event Center, located at 2495 South Delaware Street, in San Mateo. Show hours are Friday, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission to the event is $13 for adults and $6 for children 6-11. Children 5 and under are admitted free. On Family Day, Sunday, December 21, children 11 and under are admitted free with a paid adult admission.
