D-Link Executive Michael Fox Promoted to Associate Vice President to Lead Newly Consolidated Eastern Region Field Team
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA--(Marketwire - November 9, 2009) - D-Link, the end-to-end computer
networking solutions provider for consumer and business, today announced
that Michael Fox has been promoted to associate vice president, and will
lead the company's newly formed Eastern Region sales team, expanding his
responsibility to 32 states across the North Central, Ohio Valley,
Northeast, Mid Atlantic, and Southeast territories. Fox formerly held the
position of senior director of US field sales, Eastern Region.
The consolidation of field operations improves D-Link's ability to bring
additional resources -- such as support, training, engineers and field
staff -- to the region and interact more closely with its Value-Added
Resellers (VARs) and end-user customers.
Fox will focus on driving revenue in the eastern US territory, managing
activities of the sales team, creating and developing new channels of
opportunity for D-Link® products, and serving as a key executive for
clients and partners. He will also create specific account and market
penetration sales plans, develop strategic programs designed to maximize
partner opportunities and maintain pipeline and revenue forecast reports.
"Michael has had an impressive track record with D-Link. He has closed
competitive multi-million dollar deals, held top region quotas and
maintained an impressive number of active VARs," said Nick Tidd, vice
president of sales of D-Link Pan America and vice president of marketing
for D-Link North America. "He demonstrates the strategic and leadership
skills necessary to develop new channels for D-Link as we expand our sales
channel concentration throughout the Eastern Region."
Based in St. Petersburg, Fla., Fox joined D-Link in 2006, where he held
positions of director and then senior director of US field sales. His team
has consistently surpassed quotas for the past three and a half years.
Under his leadership, new business deals were closed with major customers.
