Dads, Share Your Love This Valentine's Day

Latest Survey Shows One-Third of Women Responding Couldn't Count on Their Fathers' Love

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 14, 2011) - Dads, when was the last time you told your daughter that you love her? Your answer could have far-reaching implications for the rest of her life.

Just in time for Valentine's Day, Maximum Impact, a training partner for leading edge companies, released findings from its ongoing "Dear Diary…" research project. This on-line questionnaire reveals that more than one-third of women disagree with the statement "I always knew my father loved me."

"I shared this result with a group recently and many had tears in their eyes," said Jamie MacDonald, managing partner of Maximum Impact. "Everyone needs to know they are loved, especially our daughters. So men, maybe the valentine you most need to send this year is to your own daughter – regardless of her age!"

"Dear Diary…" is an ongoing opportunity for women to comment on achievement, relationships and fulfillment. To date, nearly 500 women from teens to septuagenarians have completed the 10 minute poll. Women are invited to join the discussion at

More survey results will be released at "Invitation to Defying Expectations" Tuesday evening, February 15th, Simon Fraser University, Surrey Campus. For information and registration: or call 604.839.8051.
