Dais Appoints New VP of Sales and Marketing

TAMPA, FL--(Marketwire - January 7, 2010) - Dais Analytic Corporation (OTCBB: DLYT) is pleased to announce an executive organization expansion. Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) industry veteran David Longacre is joining the Company as its Vice President of Sales and Marketing for its nanotechnology based ConsERV product line. Company veteran Robert W. (Bob) Brown is taking the newly created position of Vice President of Operations.

ConsERV is used by educational and medical facilities, businesses and industry, and home owners to demonstrably improve the efficiencies of their HVAC equipment by reducing energy usage and CO2 emissions while improving Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).

"Bringing in top field experienced talent like David combined with the seasoned expertise of Bob is being done to position the Company to quickly grow long term, sustainable revenues -- revenues from a market segment in the world-wide HVAC industry being driven by products having proven energy saving and environmental improvement capabilities like those in our ConsERV product," said Tim Tangredi, President and CEO of Dais.

"Adding David to our team is solid evidence the Company is addressing the increased market opportunity for its flagship ConsERV product and doing so in a manner which values the need to focus on infrastructure and delivery mechanisms to support long term profit generating growth," said Bob Brown, Vice President of Operations.

"This is an exciting opportunity to grow market share and revenues of the nanotechnology based ConsERV product in the HVAC industry. ConsERV offers a strong value proposition of energy savings and smaller carbon footprint being sought by end users at all levels in all market segments, and it is the first of several cutting-edge nanotechnology based HVAC 'green' products from Dais," said David Longacre, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Dais manufactures and distributes ConsERV, a 'no moving parts' Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) which has won four industry awards for excellence or innovation since 2005. ConsERV is useful with almost all types of HVAC equipment, and using the attributes of Dais' nanotechnology materials it preconditions the temperature and humidity content of an HVAC system's incoming air using the energy found in the HVAC system's exhaust air. This technology supports the usage of smaller HVAC systems with optimal output, which translates into energy savings, lower generation of harmful CO2 emissions, and improving Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).

Dais Analytic Corporation (OTCBB: DLYT) is commercializing its nanotechnology materials and processes into products, and is positioning itself to become a leading participant in the applied nanotechnology industry with a specialized focus on the needs of the energy and water industries. Products incorporating Dais' nanotechnology minimize consumption of irreplaceable natural resources and stop the degradation of our environment. To find out more about Dais Analytic, log on to or
