Dakshidin Focuses Initial Efforts on the Multi Trillion Dollar Developing Country Market

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - November 16, 2007) - Dakshidin Corporation (PINKSHEETS: DKSC) ( and its wholly owned subsidiary, RESTEC International Inc., are makers of the world's most powerful pumping windmill.

Current windmills need a wind speed of at least 15 miles per hour to operate effectively. Wind speeds of at least 15 miles per hour occur in less than 20% of the world at any given time. Sub-Saharan countries, on average, experience wind speeds of less than 10 miles an hour.

The RESTEC MARK 10 windmill and Mark 10 E wind-turbine begin to operate effectively at 4 miles per hour. The RESTEC windmill will pump more water from any depth at any wind speed at a lower cost that any other windmill in the world. As previously stated, proficiency testing on the RESTEC Mark 10 windmill has been carried out at the Texas A&M University, the Alberta Department of Agriculture and field tests within Mexico, China and Arizona have confirmed that the RESTEC Mark 10 windmill produces more water at a lower cost than any other windmill tested.

For the developing world, a renewable and sustainable power source is fundamental to creating nutritional and economical self sufficiency. The RESTEC Mark 10 and Mark 10E will assist developing countries to achieve the goal of economic sustainability within 5 years. Achieving economic sustainability is a fundamental desired requirement in order to obtain international aid agencies' funding.

Developing countries are often resource rich and socio-economically poor. A major underused resource is the abundance of manual labor. RESTEC International supports the development of entry level mechanical skills through manufacturing, sales, installation and service of RESTEC's technologies.

The potential for RESTEC's technology can be best understood by the following example: At the beginning of the 20th century there were approximately 25,000,000 people living in western North America and there were about 6,200,000 windmills in use to supply water for drinking, irrigation, livestock, etc. At that time, there were over 100 companies manufacturing windmills and the GNP was approximately 60% agriculture. In the present day Sub-Saharan Africa, with a population of several hundred million and 90% of its GNP being agriculture, the market for RESTEC's technology is enormous.

The RESTEC MARK 10 Windmill is the world's best renewable, cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution for the world's water crisis and the MARK 10 E is the renewable, cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution for the world's energy crisis!
