Dali Museum Selects Whaleback Managed Services for Cloud-Based Managed Unified Communications Services

CrystalBlue Voice and Messaging Services, Powered by Bright House Networks, Provides Museum With Enhanced Customer Service

PORTSMOUTH, NH--(Marketwire - Nov 29, 2011) - Whaleback Managed Services, the leader in managed business communication services, today announced that the Dali Museum, based in St. Petersburg, Florida and home of the largest collection of Salvador Dali's artistic work outside of Spain, has selected the company's CrystalBlue Cloud-based Managed Voice Services as its unified communications solution.

Dali Museum chose Whaleback's CrystalBlue service to replace its 20+ year old legacy phone system and upgrade with new cloud-based unified communications services. Whaleback partnered with Bright House Networks, the sixth largest owner and operator of cable systems in the U.S., to provide a combined solution of voice and data services running over Bright House Networks' fiber network. Whaleback directly connects its CrystalBlue service into Bright House Networks' SIP trunk offering. The upgraded system now:

  • frees Dali's IT team from worry about voice communications, enabling them to focus on other issues and initiatives; and
  • adds new enhanced unified communication features to improve customer service and worker flexibility, such as local and remote voicemail and "find me follow me" services
