Dam-en-Terre Resort Upgrades its Facilities for Upcoming Summer Season

Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean tourist accommodations get a boost, adding to the region's attractions, thanks to financial support from the Government of Canada


QUÉBEC, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - April 3, 2015) - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)

The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency if Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that the Dam-en-Terre Resort has been granted financial assistance to modernize its facilities and become a four-star establishment.

This support is being awarded in the form of a $594,491 repayable financial contribution through CED's Quebec Economic Development Program.

  • Dam-en-Terre is a four-season resort that offers guests a wide variety of recreational and outdoor activities.
  • CED's assistance will enable Dam-en-Terre to carry out major improvements, including replacing the exterior siding and windows and doors of its condominiums and modernizing their interior.
