Danal and Billeo Announce Mobile Identity Partnership

Danal's Mobile Data Will Expedite Mobile and Social Purchase Experience for Consumers

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 6, 2014) - Billeo, Inc., an innovator in driving mobile and social transactions, has announced a partnership with Danal to launch its mobile identity solution for Billeo's XpressBuy checkout service. Danal's mobile identity solution bolsters the XpressBuy platform with device identification and user data provided to Danal through their mobile carrier partnerships, as well as other 3rd party sources. This development makes transactions more secure and consumer friendly by significantly reducing the number of keystrokes required to complete a purchase.

The offering targets the frustrated mobile shopper who is faced with a daunting array of input fields required to complete a purchase, and ultimately decides to abandon the transaction. With Danal's federated identity data engine, merchants and enterprises are able to authenticate users' identity using mobile carriers' network authentication techniques. This service also facilitates obtaining appropriate consumer consent, and helps auto-fill registration and checkout forms with account data from carriers and other sources.

Billeo focuses on converting the "buying moment" to a "purchase" for marketplaces, shopping apps, and Facebook and Twitter communities by offering users an easy and simplified purchasing process. "Danal's technology is superior to anything else in the industry, which makes it very easy to integrate for a cross carrier solution," said Murali Subbarao, founder and President of Billeo, Inc. "Their operational experience in working with carriers makes them the ideal partner for mobile identity and data solutions."

As the e-commerce market has grown, mobile carriers have played a critically supportive role in advancing the marketplace's adaptation to mobile. Danal Inc. has developed their mobile identity solution in conjunction with mobile carriers, established data industry partners, and select marquee merchants. In building the proprietary offering, Danal leveraged technology from their parent company, Danal Co. (KOSDAQ: 064260), a leader in the mobile data marketplace since 2011.

"Our mobile identity solution provides merchants and enterprises with a tremendous opportunity to utilize carrier data in the e-commerce space," said Jim Greenwell, President and CEO of Danal Inc. "We're pleased to announce our partnership with Billeo, and look forward to future opportunities in carrier data solutions and mobile identity."
