Dancing With The Stars - The Tour Visits Scotiabank Place July 10


LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA--(CCNMatthews - May 7, 2007) - Dancing With The Stars, ABC's #1 rated unscripted show, produced by BBC Worldwide, is hitting the road again and bringing its most popular team of stars and professional dancers from the show's first four seasons to 24- cities throughout North America. The tour, which is produced by BBC Worldwide, AEG LIVE and Front Line Management Group and is represented by ICM, is scheduled to kick-off in Austin, Texas on June 20 and will take its final bow in Vancouver, BC on July 24. Attracting an average audience nearly 20 million viewers each Monday, Dancing With The Stars currently ranks among the Top 5 most-watched shows on all of television.

The second cast of Dancing With The Stars -The Tour features an ensemble of the show's most popular competitors including season four's Joey Fatone and Kym Johnson; season two's winning duo Drew Lachey and Cheryl Burke; season three's Joey Lawrence and Edyta Sliwinska; season one's Joey McIntyre and Julianne Hough as well as professional dancers Alec Mazo and Louis Van Amstel.

The two hour show will feature a larger-than-life recreation of the TV show's actual stage with an intimate nightclub style table seating on the floor allowing fans unparalleled sightlines and access to all of the action. Dancing With The Stars - The Tour will be choreographed once again by Louis Van Amstel with Carrie Ann Inaba serving as the show's creative director. The live show will feature celebrity group and solo dances along with sets from the professional dancers. In addition, the show will incorporate never-before-seen rehearsal footage and exclusive interviews and outtakes as well as some surprise extras. As with the network show there will be a live orchestra to accompany the dances with popular modern day songs that have become a much loved aspect of the program.
