NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - February 3, 2009) - A lawsuit is pending in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, Docket No. 09-CV-833 (LBS). The lawsuit was filed on behalf of all purchasers of Wells Fargo Mortgage-Backed Securities Trust Certificates (the "Certificates") issued pursuant to a Registration Statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The case was filed against Wells Fargo Mortgage-Backed Securities 2006-AR-1-19 and 2006-1-17 Trusts; the Sponsor and the Depositor and Master Servicer of the Certificates; certain individual defendants; and the underwriters of the Certificate Offerings. The lawsuit asserts claims under sections 11, 12 and 15 of the Securities Act of 1933. The complaint alleges that defendants made material misstatements and omissions in connection with the offerings including regarding the collateral underlying the Certificates.
