Daniel Panetta Sings for Canadian Crime Victim Foundation 6th Annual Gala and Fundraiser

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 6, 2008) - If the name Daniel Panetta sounds familiar to you, it should. He is the 16 year old who donated 5,000 CD singles of his version of the song "Mama" to the mothers of Canadian military personnel with children stationed in Afghanistan. The dashing baritone will perform this evening at the Canadian Crime Victim Foundation's 6th Annual Gala and Fundraiser at The Royalton located in Vaughn. The Honourable Peter MacKay, Minister of Defense will be this evening's special guest.

With a voice and stage presence far beyond his years, Daniel's natural talent has continually helped him prevail as a top competitor in many regional events such as York Region's Celebration of the Arts and the CNE's Rising Star Youth Talent Contest. As a student of the Regional Arts Program of St. Elizabeth Catholic High School he was selected as one of two solo vocalists of the Senior Choir invited to perform for overseas audiences in Venice, Florence and Rome during their 2007 tour.

Samples of Daniel's work can be heard through www.myspace.com/danielpanetta During the past month his site has surpassed an astounding 29,000 views.

Daniel Panetta is a remarkable young man and an incredible role model for young people today. He has a very bright future ahead of him.
