Daptiv PPM Helps Owens Community College Increase Efficiency in Project Management and Reporting

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - October 14, 2009) - Daptiv, the on-demand leader in collaborative business software,
announced today that Owens Community College has implemented Daptiv PPM to
drastically streamline the project management process and increase
communication throughout departments. Founded in 1965 and based in Toledo
and Findlay, Ohio, Owens Community College serves more than 45,000 credit
and non-credit students each year. Owens has implemented Daptiv's
Software-as-a-Service project management solution in various
departments across both locations in order to better track and manage work
and simplify project operations.
Prior to Daptiv, Owens tracked projects and managed the IT department with
spreadsheet-based applications. Owens decided it needed a more efficient
process and began looking for a solution that could update the project
management process, offered better tracking insight and would provide
flexibility. The college implemented Daptiv in July 2008 and immediately
began reducing the amount of time spent generating and communicating
project reports by 80 percent.
Today, Daptiv PPM is used across departments and locations to manage a
