DarbeeVision Brings a New Dimension to Home Entertainment Video -- and Now Security Systems -- at CEDIA

Showcases 'Better Than High Def' Viewing Experience

DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - Sep 23, 2013) - Seeing is believing, and the future of home entertainment looks bright: DarbeeVision, Inc., the digital image enhancement pioneers, will be at the CEDIA Expo 2013 in Denver from September 25-28 to show what can happen when you use computation to go beyond the limits of fidelity and go beyond HD. Booth #4022 is where all of the action will be: from Blu-ray, cable and 4K to gaming and now even home security applications -- DarbeeVision's Darbee Visual Presence (DVP) technology adds stunning depth, clarity and realism to any video content.

What's New?
At CEDIA, DarbeeVision will unveil its brand new Reveal technology, which creates a profound improvement of image quality for security/surveillance applications. Using Reveal, details that were previously obscured are suddenly easy to see. Fog, haze, snow and poor lighting conditions are automatically compensated for -- enabling targets of interest to be seen more clearly. Enabled by parallel processing in a single chip, Reveal is implemented as an inline HDMI video processor.

DarbeeVision will also be putting the next generation of its popular Darblet video processor, the DVP 5100, through its paces at CEDIA.

High-end home theater specialists Salt Labs will be on hand in the Darbee booth to showcase its two products using DVP technology: the Halite and Ocule video purifiers. Both produce stunning images with heightened detail and depth that appear to jump off of the screen.

OPPO Digital has licensed DVP for the world's first DVP-enabled Blu-ray player: the BDP-103D, which will also be on display at CEDIA. The BDP-103D provides image enhancement processing in real time, resulting in an unparalleled viewing experience for HD and upscaled HD to 4K video.
