D.A.R.E. Launches Auto Donation Effort in NJ

Proceeds to Benefit Existing and New Anti-Drug Programs in NJ Schools

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - November 26, 2007) - D.A.R.E., the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program, which impacts the lives of millions of school children worldwide, announced today that a special charitable giving program is being launched in the state of NJ. Building on D.A.R.E.'s highly successful efforts in the state, the program will focus on asking consumers to donate their existing vehicles, in any condition, to help NJ school children and, at the same time, enjoy a deduction on their 2007 tax returns.

"This new program expands on our existing efforts in NJ and offers residents of the state a way to give and also receive," stated Nick DeMauro, Chairman and CEO of D.A.R.E. NJ. "We have partnered with Auto Exchange of Sayreville, NJ, a regional leader in the vehicle action and salvage business, to ensure that both D.A.R.E, and individuals who donate their vehicles get the most for their efforts."

Interested parties can call Auto Exchange at 1-800-222-0829 or send an email to donate@autoexchangenj.com to arrange for their vehicle to be picked up and/or towed, free of charge. In addition, all NJ residents who donate their vehicle will receive a $50 gift card for the holidays.

About D.A.R.E.

Founded in 1983 by a former Los Angeles police officer, D.A.R.E. impacts the lives of millions of school children around the world, by educating all key audiences -- parents, children in elementary, middle and high schools, educators, etc. -- about the dangers of drugs. Currently, many school districts in the US and in 43 other countries teach D.A.R.E., as well as over 95% of NJ schools. The curriculum is developed by top educators, and disseminated by trained officers. A study recently published in the Journal of the National Medical Association demonstrated that D.A.R.E. is highly effective in preventing smoking. Students that completed the D.A.R.E. program were five times less likely to start smoking compared to youngsters who did not participate in D.A.R.E.
