Daryle Lademan Joins The Avascent Group

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - February 23, 2009) - The Avascent Group, Washington, DC's premier
strategy and management consultancy, today welcomed Daryle Lademan as a
Principal with the firm. "We are pleased to welcome Daryle as a member of
our senior team," said Steve Irwin, Avascent's president.
Ms. Lademan is a 15-year veteran of aerospace and defense consulting, with
a deep expertise in M&A transaction support, commercial aerospace, and
space markets. Throughout her consulting career, Ms. Lademan has played an
integral role in numerous due diligence engagements, supporting both
strategic and financial buyers of defense and commercial aerospace
properties.
Ms. Lademan has particularly strong expertise in commercial aircraft and
aviation markets, having conducted diligence on dozens of firms engaged in
the original equipment and aftermarket manufacturing and servicing of
aerostructures, aero engines, avionics, aircraft interiors, and other
aircraft systems and components. Her knowledge base covers a range of
operational, financial, and regulatory issues impacting aircraft suppliers
and operators, from OEMs to Tier 3 manufacturers, across the full spectrum
of the industry, from large airliners to business aircraft.
Prior to joining Avascent, Ms. Lademan served as a Director at CSP
Associates, Inc., where she spent nearly a decade advising a broad range of
defense and aerospace clients in strategy and transaction services. In
addition, Ms. Lademan served as an independent advisor on political and
communications strategy to the Airline Pilots Security Alliance, a
non-profit organization focused on improving aviation security.
While earning an M.A. in Science, Technology, and Public Policy, Ms.
Lademan worked as a NASA Space Grant Fellow at The George Washington
University's Space Policy Institute. She also holds a B.A. in Political
Science from the University of Central Florida, and is a graduate of the
International Space University's Policy and Law program.
Ms. Lademan is active in a number of professional development and
charitable organizations. She is the current President-Elect of Women in
Aerospace, and served as the organization's Vice President for Membership
in 2006 and 2007. She is an avid fitness enthusiast and a volunteer
marathon coach for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training
program.
