Data Fortress Adds Payment Transaction Service to PPV

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - March 2, 2005) - Data
Fortress (TSX VENTURE:DFG)(PINK SHEETS:DFGRF) launched its new
multimedia division IPFlix Inc at the Pacific Palisade Hotel in
Vancouver BC to a pact audience of over 200 people and introduced its
proprietary IPFlix Video on Demand and Pay Per View Appliance. In late
February 2005, the company released this proprietary PPV Appliance for
sale to select markets. "We are extremely pleased with the turn out and
the interest shown for our product and look to carry this momentum
forward as we enter into the sales phase of the product through the
second quarter of 2005" says DFG CEO Michael Chong. The IPFlix Pay Per
View Appliance was reviewed and tested by numerous third parties during
the last 60 days and we would like to thank all involved for providing
invaluable feedback through out this testing period. During this 60-day
period the company has also developed its own payment transaction system
to enable easy transactions for each of its digital products.

The IPFlix Transaction Server is a payment gateway that establishes a
secure payment network in order to bridge the virtual world and physical
world for e-commerce activities. With the ability to process almost
unlimited transactions originating from any web-accessible terminal, the
Transaction Server is an elegant solution to the problem of secure
transactions over the internet.

The ITS handles any transactions initiated through the IPFlix website.
Each transaction is put through a stringent authentication and
verification process before ultimately being accepted or rejected. The
servers are located within the Data Fortress Data Center, and thus have
a direct connection to the backbone of the internet. This allows for
extremely quick processing of transactions, reducing the wait for both
users and vendors. Currently the Transaction Server is only used for
internal transactions and is not available for third-party use. In the
future, however, there is potential to create a subsidiary company that
could specifically handle credit card transactions using the ITS.

IPFlix has been designed to produce content that integrates into
Microsoft Media Center. Windows XP Media Center Edition offers users a
multimedia experience in any room in their home. Users can enjoy an
integrated home entertainment experience including photos, music, TV,
and will be able connect with devices around the home and on the go that
extend there entertainment. Additional information can be found at
