Data from MethylGene's MGCD265 and Mocetinostat Clinical Trials to Be Presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - May 21, 2010) - MethylGene Inc. (TSX:MYG) today announced that three poster presentations describing clinical data for MGCD265 and mocetinostat (MGCD0103) will be presented at the ASCO Annual Meeting to be held in Chicago from June 4 to 8, 2010. The posters for MGCD265, a multi-targeted (Met) kinase inhibitor, will describe updated data from two Phase I clinical trials (Trials 101 and 102). The poster presentation for mocetinostat, an isotype-selective histone deacetylase inhibitor, will provide additional safety data and an update on the Company's Phase II trial evaluating mocetinostat as a single agent in follicular lymphoma patients (Trial 008).
