Data I/O Announces Training Partnership With Lake Washington Technical College, Bellevue College Through a Grant Funded by the State of Washington

REDMOND, WA--(Marketwire - September 14, 2010) -  Data I/O Corporation (NASDAQ: DAIO), the leading provider of manual and automated programming solutions, today announced a training partnership with Lake Washington Technical College and Bellevue College, made possible by a grant funded by the State of Washington.

In keeping with a focus on creating a continuous learning organization, Data I/O surveyed employees to identify key professional development and training needs and then worked with training partners to secure a grant for training in problem solving and communications skills. Based on the success of those two courses, Data I/O will offer employees five additional courses supported by a similar grant: Corporate Writing Essentials, Writing White Papers for Engineers, Executive Business Writing, Writing Sales Proposals, and Advanced Presentation Techniques.
