Data Integration Leader Scribe Software Closes Largest Quarter in Company's History

Rapid Scribe Online Adoption, Enterprise Sales Momentum and Strong Partnerships Drive Record-Breaking Quarter

MANCHESTER, NH--(Marketwired - Jan 23, 2014) -  Scribe Software, an established global provider of solutions that easily bring customer data anywhere, today announced the close of the largest quarter in the company's history - Q4 2013. Closing out the year with record-breaking sales growth for both Scribe Online as well as its heritage, award-winning software, the company exceeded its 2013 sales goals. Scribe continues to be a leader in the North American and EMEA enterprise data integration markets and has now established itself as one of the fastest growing cloud and software providers of data integration in the world.

Driving Customer-Focused Marketing

"More enterprises recognize that being truly connected within their markets and business ecosystems is an imperative, so they are seeking comprehensive means to access and consume more customer data. By making that data useable, they better inform sales, enable integrated marketing and make much lower risk line-of-business decisions -- all of which richly advances both top- and bottom-line results. Companies are therefore clearly hungry for flexible, cloud-ready data access and integration solutions, as evidenced by the steady growth of such tools as Scribe Software," noted Dana Gardner, principal analyst, Interarbor Solutions.

As today's marketers continue to strive for a 360-degree view of the customer to bolster relationships and sales through more personalized and targeted interactions, Scribe has emerged as their choice for cloud data integration. Delivering the most comprehensive platform for customer data integration across cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments thanks to strategic partnerships and pre-built connectors, Scribe helps marketers unify Microsoft Dynamics CRM and/or Salesforce® data with key business applications and top marketing platforms such as ExactTarget, GoToWebinar, Marketo, ON24, QuickBooks, Silverpop, SmartFocus and more.

The increasing demand for cost-effective, cloud-based solutions such as Scribe Online to connect business applications and quickly solve complex customer data integration challenges has caused a surge in Scribe sales. For instance, sales of Scribe Online in Q4 alone were almost double total sales of the product in 2012. Furthermore, Scribe's enterprise and public sector software business reached all-time records globally.

In addition, the team grew sales for Scribe Online Salesforce initiatives by 760 percent year-over-year. Scribe attributes this spike to companies' need to integrate data from Salesforce.com with other cloud-based business applications to get a complete view of their customers -- as well as leverage the integrated data for reporting and analytics.

"Highly relevant customer data is essential to our business -- it ensures our team has accurate information about the business communities for the congregations we serve," said Kevin Peck from Gdirect. "With Scribe Online, we can seamlessly integrate our Salesforce.com CRM solution for complete visibility into the customer. The cloud-based solution has not only saved us extensive ramp-up time and costs, but the time to process customer data has also been significantly reduced."

Partnering for Success

Scribe's mature partner program also contributed to its impressive growth. In Q4, the company launched a Preferred Provider Program for systems integrators (SIs) and value-added resellers (VARs) to support the growing demand for Scribe Online. It also grew revenue through ISVs in the Scribe Developer Program 61 percent quarter over quarter. In addition, Scribe entered into new strategic partnerships with Connexio Labs, Personify and SmartFocus, and became a Gold partner in the Oracle Partner Network.

Recently named a CEO of the Year by CEO World Awards, Scribe CEO Lou Guercia noted, "We are at the beginning of a new era in IT as companies look to navigate an ever-changing data center environment in the cloud revolution. As organizational shifts -- whether they be based on the evolving role of IT or shifting data models -- take center stage in 2014, we're poised to deliver the flexibility and innovation needed for enterprises to conquer the customer data challenge and reap the bottom-line benefits."
