Data Shows Vail, Colorado, a Great Place to Find a Husband

VAIL, CO--(Marketwire - Mar 11, 2011) - Single women interested in finding a husband should vacation in Vail, Colorado, said local Vail Real Estate broker Greg Strahan. According to Strahan, the male-female ratio is favorable for single women, and more than one third of Vail, CO residents are single men. Strahan's analysis also shows that nearly all single men in Vail, Colorado, are employed -- a striking statistic considering high unemployment rates across the country.

For example, a single woman visiting Vail has a 21.1% chance of meeting a single male with a bachelor's degree -- considerably better odds than other popular ski towns like Stowe, Vermont or Snowbird, Utah.

Vail, Colorado, is also one of the only popular ski resort towns to be listed on the prestigious Forbes 500 Most Expensive Zip Codes list, and Vail's real estate values are second only to neighboring Aspen.

Vail is also one of the top-ranked ski destinations in the USA. Ski Magazine's 2010-2011 North American report ranks Vail, Colorado, as the second best ski resort on the continent.
