DDN CEO Alex Bouzari Will Discuss the Company's Growth and Its Ability to Anticipate Market Transitions

CHATSWORTH, CA--(Marketwire - Jun 21, 2011) - DataDirect Networks (DDN), the world's largest privately-held information storage company, today announced that the CEO and Co-Founder, Alex Bouzari, will speak at the Morgan Keegan Technology Group Private Growth Company Conference, taking place June 20-22, 2011 in Half Moon Bay, CA.

Bouzari will focus on DDN's solid track record in running a profitable, high growth business. He will also highlight the company's position as the global leader in providing systems to the world's most data intensive organizations, as evidenced by recent deployments at the Virginia Bioinformatics Institute at VirginaTech, which is using DDN to support its cancer research; and the City Hall in Gwangju, Korea, which is using DDN to power an extensive video surveillance system.

Other recent announcements include an expanded partnership with DVTel, to provide a massively scalable "Pay as you Grow" video surveillance management infrastructure that lets customers easily add capacity as they deploy additional cameras and sensor endpoints.

Alex Bouzari brings more than twenty years of experience in the storage industry and a wealth of knowledge in running profitable, fast growth technology companies. Prior to co-founding DataDirect Networks, Mr. Bouzari served as CEO of Personal Writer, Inc., and co-founder of MegaDrive Systems, Inc. Mr. Bouzari holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Engineering and Economics from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), with graduate studies in Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Stanford University.
