Datalliance Adds Ray Heyob as Solutions Director for Industrial Product Markets

CINCINNATI, OH--(Marketwire - Feb 27, 2013) -  Datalliance, the Cincinnati-based leading independent provider of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) platform services, today announced that the company has hired Ray Heyob as Solutions Director - Industrial Products. In this newly-created position, Mr. Heyob will be responsible for directing on-going Datalliance VMI solution enhancement investments to support the needs of companies in industrial product markets such as electrical, plumbing, power transmission, truck parts and similar industries that typically sell through either wholesale distributors or dealer networks. He will work with customers and other companies in these industries to understand their evolving needs for VMI, translate those needs into specific software requirements, work with Datalliance software engineering to develop new solution capabilities and help communicate the value those capabilities and related business practices bring to the Datalliance community. This new role will complement similar Datalliance activities for the Consumer Packaged Goods and Healthcare markets. 

Mr. Heyob joins Datalliance from a 20+ year career with Procter & Gamble where he held a variety of progressively broader positions from Continuous Replenishment Systems Analyst through Plant Systems and Manufacturing IT Section Manager roles, to Interactive Marketing, eServices Delivery and Global Marketing Technology Leader roles, to his most recent position as eCommerce Startup and Solution Manager.
