CINCINNATI, OH--(Marketwire - Jan 31, 2013) - Datalliance today announced key growth metrics for 2012. The company realized a nearly 20% increase in revenue, the eighth consecutive year of steady annual growth. Increased revenue came from expanded and new customer subscriptions for the Datalliance Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) platform and associated services. New customers were added and existing customer programs were substantially expanded in consumer goods, electrical, plumbing, power transmission, automotive parts, pharmaceutical and medical device markets.
As the world's largest independent Vendor Managed Inventory platform and service provider, Datalliance VMI saw increases in all key volume statistics and now manages over 13,000 locations, 17M+ SKUs, and $14B in annual sales. Datalliance also continued to develop new VMI innovations through delivery of multiple new releases of its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) VMI platform.
In addition, Datalliance made substantial progress in building the company's foundation for expansion into Europe, including the opening of a European Headquarters office in Brussels, Belgium; the addition of multi-lingual service delivery specialists and internationalization enhancements to the Datalliance VMI user interface. Datalliance is already being used by manufacturers to provide VMI services for both industrial and consumer products in 49 locations and 15 countries within Europe. "We were pleased to see growth in all dimensions of our business in 2012," commented Carl Hall, Datalliance CEO and President. "Many of our existing customers are expanding their programs to include new trading partners. Several of our new customers are transitioning their existing VMI programs from legacy systems to our Datalliance VMI platform, while others are launching VMI programs for the first time.
