TORONTO, ON. and SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 21, 2005) -

DataMirror Transformation Server Delivers Real-Time Data to BEA WebLogic Platform

DataMirror® (NASDAQ: DMCX - News; TSX: DMC - News) today announced that Transformation Server has completed the BEA Validation Program and is now verified to integrate with BEA WebLogic Platform 8.1. By completing this program, DataMirror demonstrates that its unique Change Data Capture (CDC) technology is designed to seamlessly integrate with BEA Systems WebLogic by providing real-time data from systems such as DB2, Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL, UDB, EDIFACT, and XML directly to WebLogic. Together, DataMirror and BEA can deliver comprehensive real-time data integration for dynamic Web applications and business process management that can help enable real-time decision making.

DataMirror's Transformation Server is designed to deliver data from mission-critical business systems to BEA WebLogic Server with low impact on source systems, providing an organization's customers, partners and employees with real-time information. The solution can support high data volumes, in-flight transformation of data, event audit trails and bi-directional data integration capabilities.

"By bringing DataMirror's CDC technology together with BEA WebLogic, we can help companies gain a competitive advantage by providing real-time data delivery for business process automation and composite application development," said Nigel Stokes, CEO, DataMirror. "DataMirror can deliver low-risk, flexible, Change Data Capture technology that brings data from mission-critical business applications to BEA WebLogic Server."

The BEA Validation Program provides a testing framework to verify the technical readiness of partner solutions that complement, operate with, or extend the BEA WebLogic Platform™ 8.1 or BEA WebLogic Workshop™ 8.1. Partners can validate the integration of their software applications and solutions with BEA WebLogic Platform 8.1 or test the interoperability of Java controls and integrated development environment (IDE) extensions with BEA WebLogic Workshop 8.1. The BEA Validation Program is open to all partners enrolled in the BEA Partner Program.

"By validating DataMirror Transformation Server on BEA WebLogic Platform 8.1, DataMirror has taken an important step in providing our customers real-time data feeds from almost any application on any database," said Bala Ram, Product Manager, Connectivity and B2B products, BEA Systems, Inc. "The BEA validation program is designed to help accelerate adoption of partner solutions and to help increase market opportunities by assuring mutual customers that partner technology solutions are designed to integrate with the BEA WebLogic Enterprise Platform."
