DataXu, a leading provider of programmatic marketing software, today announced the appointment of Chris Sullivan as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective June 13, 2016. An accomplished CFO with public and high growth pre-IPO company experience, Sullivan has more than 30 years experience in the high technology, e-commerce and financial services industries. Sullivan will oversee corporate finance, accounting, investor relations and legal functions, and will report to DataXu Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Mike Baker.
Sullivan joins DataXu from ecommerce company Gazelle, where he started as CFO before progressing to CEO, growing the business from $8M to more than $100M in five years. Prior to his tenure at Gazelle, Sullivan held CFO positions at Fidelity, Pegasystems and Event Zero, as well as senior executive roles at Fisher Scientific and Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC). Sullivan holds a BS and MBA from Babson College in Wellesley, MA. With a proven track record in strategic planning, corporate finance and accounting, performance management and investor relations, Sullivan joins the DataXu management team as they scale to support rapid profitable business growth. DataXu also announced on Monday the hire of VP of Television Solutions Tore Tellefeson, who will lead a marketing analytics and data science team focused on television.
