Datran Media Executives to Discuss a Broad Range of Trends, Issues and Solutions Impacting Digital Brand Marketing and Publishing Success at Upcoming Industry Events

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Apr 26, 2011) - Datran Media, a leading digital marketing technology company, today announced that several of its key executives will speak at upcoming privacy and online marketing conferences including the W3C Workshop on Web Tracking and User Privacy, MediaPost's Email Insider Summit, DIGIDAY: Target and MarketingProfs University. Trends, issues and solutions addressed include Datran Media's position on privacy and the current Do-Not-Track proposal, the integration of email and Facebook, the state of online targeting and email marketing success.

Beginning on April 28 at the W3C Workshop on Web Tracking and User Privacy in Princeton, NJ, Datran Media's Chief Privacy Officer, Steven Vine, will present an original position paper on various considerations for the effective implementation of Do-Not-Track legislation. Vine will present research data demonstrating consumers' preferences for tailored online advertising within a behavioral economic context of real world, value-for-value trade-off options. He will also discuss the impact of brand controls and meaningful choices on consumers' experiences and comfort with online advertising.

The following week, Damian Borichevsky, vice president of professional services for Datran Media's StormPost digital marketing communications platform, will head to Captiva Island, FL, to moderate a panel at the MediaPost Email Insider Summit on May 3. The panel presentation, "Email and Facebook: Navigating the Interaction between the Inbox and the Social Media Powerhouse," will explore what email marketers should be doing to take advantage of the large overlap between their database and Facebook's 500 million+ users. Mr. Borichevsky will discuss how Facebook is changing the way marketers measure the success of their email campaigns and how the two channels can and should be integrated to maximize performance. Co-panelists include Megan Theis, digital direct client executive for the Digital Evolution Group, Andrea Stow, senior global emarketing manager for Crocs, Inc, and Kara Trivunovic, senior director of strategic services for StrongMail.

On May 5 in New York City at DIGIDAY: Target, Kyle Antoian, director of strategic partnerships for Datran Media's Aperture audience measurement business, will kick off the day by leading a breakfast workshop focused on how site-based measurement is being applied to enable marketers to finally reach more of their target audiences at scale without reliance on cookies. Later that afternoon, Steven Vine will once again take the stage to discuss privacy and the new rules of targeting on a panel moderated by Corey Kronengold, director of content for DIGIDAY. The panel will address the most pressing issues across data management, cookie and behavioral targeting and how the new level of consumer control is impacting media buyers and technology platforms. Co-panelists include Nancy Marzouk, VP of strategic partnerships for Netmining; Jeff Rosenblum, co-president of Questus; Jeff Hochberg, VP of audience targeting for AOL Advertising; and Jeff Ratner, SVP and group director of integrated planning for Zenith Media.

Rounding out the spring speaking schedule, Nicholas Einstein, vice president of deliverability and strategic services for Datran Media, will lead a MarketingProfs University course on email marketing titled, "The ABC's of an Excellent Email Program." Taking place on May 25 at 1:30 p.m. ET, the course will primarily focus on an email case study with ABCmouse.com, including the steps they took to ensure a successful program launch and how they optimized their communications across all stages of the customer lifecycle.
