Client-only approach and collaborative attitude will benefit the market

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - April 13, 2015) - Cushman & Wakefield today announced that David Bergeron has joined the firm as Managing Director of the Toronto West office. David will assume this role effective April 27.

As Managing Director, Mr. Bergeron will lead the Toronto West team, and will work the GTA management team on building strong partnerships with clients and partners.

"David is a great collaborator and he has a real passion for commercial real estate," said Michael Caplice, GTA Market leader for C&W. "His experience in the suburban markets - covering all asset classes will benefit our growing client list as he brings his experience to this role."

Mr. Bergeron was most recently the Senior Director, Asset Management for GWL Realty Advisors, where he oversaw the leasing and property management of a 7 million square foot industrial and retail portfolio in the GTA West market.

He also worked with GWL as Senior Leasing Director, with accountability for 2.5 million square feet of office, 11 million square feet of industrial and 500,000 square feet of retail across the suburban markets.

"Knowing your market means you can provide the best advice possible to your clients - and in a complex and fast moving market like Toronto West, knowledge counts," said Mr. Bergeron. "I'm excited by this opportunity - I'm excited by the talented agents and staff in our office - and I'm excited to meet with our clients to see how we can help them achieve their goals."
