David Brow of Acronis Recognized as a Channel Chief by Everything Channel's CRN

Honored for Instrumental Role in Doubling Partner Base, Increasing Business Conducted Through the Channel to 60%

BURLINGTON, MA--(Marketwire - February 23, 2009) - Acronis, Inc. today announced that David Brow has been named a 2009 Channel Chief by the Everything Channel's CRN. CRN Channel Chiefs are recognized as influential executives who consistently defend, promote and execute effective channel partner programs and strategies.

Brow was chosen for his leadership in the company's increasing commitment to the channel to sell affordable, scalable storage management and disaster recovery software. Among his achievements as Vice President of Channel Sales was the launch of the Channel 1st program in 2008 -- offering advanced sales and marketing resources to assist Gold-level partners with generating their own leads to build robust sales pipelines.

This is the seventh consecutive year that CRN has developed the Channel Chief list. Top Channel Chiefs were chosen based on criteria including policy and program innovations made during the past year, the amount of revenue their company generates through partners, their willingness to speak out publicly on behalf of the channel, and the number of years they have dedicated to channel activities.

"Since joining Acronis in 2007, David has doubled our partner base in North America and increased our business conducted through the channel to 60%," said Jason Donahue, CEO of Acronis. "His expertise in channel sales and marketing has made him an invaluable asset to our company, and we're proud that Everything Channel's CRN recognizes this too."

"Effective channel executives consistently ensure that the Channel's voice is heard when strategic decisions are being made and continually nurture mutually profitable relationships," said Robert C. DeMarzo, SVP/Editorial Director, Everything Channel. "This year's Channel Chiefs are strong channel advocates and we applaud them for their successful partner programs and strategies."
