David Harris Kolada Joins Eloqua as CFO and SVP of Corporate Development

Industry Veteran to Lead Finance and Corporate Initiatives for Leader in Automated Demand Generation Solutions

TORONTO--(CCNMatthews - October 31, 2006) - Eloqua Corporation, the leading supplier of automated demand generation software and services, today announced the appointment of David Harris Kolada as chief financial officer and senior vice president of corporate development. Harris Kolada brings with him more than fourteen years of experience in leading finance and investment initiatives at industry-leading companies. In his new role at Eloqua, Kolada will be charged with leading corporate operations, strategy and finance-related initiatives, including aligning corporate strategy with capital allocations, strategic investments and processes that foster inter-departmental coordination.

Harris Kolada was most recently senior director of strategic investment at Cognos Corporation, where he was responsible for assessing and executing merger and acquisition and strategic investment opportunities, a role he began as an independent consultant. Prior to his move into software industry management roles, Harris Kolada was a partner at Toronto-based venture capital firm Jefferson Partners, where he helped build one of the largest and best performing independent VC firms in Canada focused on investing in the software and communications technologies sectors. He has also held senior positions at companies such as Toronto-based BMO Nesbitt Burns and New York-based Lazard Freres & Co. Harris Kolada holds a bachelor's of commerce degree from Queen's University in Kingston, Canada.
