David R. Pomije Joins DigitalTown's Board

MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwire - Mar 25, 2013) - DigitalTown, Inc. (OTCQB: DGTW) announced today that David R. Pomije has joined its board of directors effective March 22, 2013.

His expertise in the electronic area of youth markets brings great strength to DigitalTown.

In 1988, David founded FuncoLand, predecessor to GameStop, an Interactive Entertainment Company with over 5,000 retail locations. From inception until its sale to Barnes and Noble in 2000, David held the position chairman and CEO of FuncoLand. He oversaw the building of a team of professionals, the transformation to a public company, and rapid growth to 400 locations and $250 million in revenue. Additionally, he oversaw the launching of The Game Informer magazine, the world's largest interactive entertainment magazine.

As a son of a teacher, a personal highlight of David's career was combining video game play as an inducement for kids to focus on education. The winning student earned a $25,000 scholarship for post high school studies underscoring the importance of education.
