David Taylor Provides Update on Taylor North American Equity Opportunities Fund

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Dec. 3, 2015) - Investors and investment advisors are invited to listen to an update on Taylor North American Equity Opportunities Fund (the "Fund") (TSX:TOF.UN) by David Taylor of Taylor Asset Management. A link to the update recorded on November 26, 2015 has been posted to the Brompton Funds' website at http://www.bromptongroup.com/static/mp3/tof_nov15.mp3. The Fund is available for purchase on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol TOF.UN.

Taylor Asset Management employs a value-driven investment strategy to construct a portfolio that seeks to balance long-term capital growth with capital preservation and will invest opportunistically in equity and equity related securities of issuers that they believe are fundamentally sound and are trading at a discount to their intrinsic value. The Fund currently has approximately 54.9% of the portfolio allocated to US equities with the balance allocated to Canadian equities. The portfolio can be biased to either country depending on which market David believes offers the most attractive valuations. In addition, the Fund may invest up to 25% of the portfolio in securities listed outside of North American in cases where the portfolio manager believes attractive opportunities exist or for purposes of diversification.

Since inception on June 19, 2012 to November 30, 2015, TOF.UN has generated a return of 10.5% per annum and has outperformed the S&P/ TSX Composite Index by 2.9% per annum, while increasing the NAV of the Fund by $1.83 to $11.15 and paying total cash distribution of $2.02(1). TOF.UN pays a monthly distribution of $0.052 per unit, which equates to a market distribution rate of 5.8%.

You will usually pay brokerage fees to your dealer if you purchase or sell units of the investment fund on the Toronto Stock Exchange or other alternative Canadian trading system (an "exchange"). If the units are purchased or sold on an exchange, investors may pay more than the current net asset value when buying units of the investment fund and may receive less than the current net asset value when selling them.

There are ongoing fees and expenses associated with owning units of an investment fund. An investment fund must prepare disclosure documents that contain key information about the fund.
