David&Goliath Wins Multi-Million Dollar Carl's Jr. and Hardee's Accounts

Win Comes on Heels of New Business Surge for Agency

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - January 3, 2011) - David Angelo, Chief Creative Officer of independent agency David&Goliath (www.dng.com), announced today that the LA office has been named agency of record for CKE Restaurants, Inc., parent company of fast food chains Carl's Jr. and Hardee's following a review.

As agency of record, David&Goliath will be responsible for all traditional media creative, with a heavy focus on broadcast. 72andSunny, the digital incumbent on the account, will continue as digital agency of record. Media duties, handled by the Interpublic Group of Co.'s Initiative, were not part of the review. Combined media spend for both brands is approximately $100M.

Last month, David&Goliath was named agency of record for the California Lottery.
