Daylight Cleaning Systems Facility Wins Building of the Year Award

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 31, 2005) - Daylight Cleaning Systems (DCS) has announced that One Stone Road in Guelph, Ontario has won a prestigious "TOBY" (Building of the Year) award at the recent Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMEX) exposition. The award recognizes excellence in property management, operations, resource conservation, environmental awareness, customer service and innovation.

"The successful application of our system at One Stone Road was almost certainly a contributing factor in this award," said Randy Burke President and CEO of Daylight Cleaning Systems. "Using our cleaning system we have converted approximately 5 million square feet of office space from the traditional night cleaning method to a daytime model over the past two years. The results have been increased tenant satisfaction, better building security, improved cleaning services, energy cost savings and environmental benefits."

"I am very pleased with this award" said Frank Raposo, General Manager ORC, SCU at SNC-Lavalin ProFac. "We continually look for ways to save money for our clients, protect the environment and provide exceptional customer service in every facility we manage. This TOBY award is another example of our commitment to be Canada's premier facility management service provider. One aspect of our operations at One Stone Road that has particularly pleased us has been the successful conversion to cleaning during the day."

The One Stone Road Complex won in the government building category. The 400,000 square foot building is owned by the Government of Ontario and includes the headquarters of the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs. SNC-Lavalin ProFac manages the property on behalf of the Ontario Realty Corporation, the government's real estate arm. The proprietary system for cleaning during the day was developed by and is under license from DCS
