DC Brands: Backorders Will Start to Ship This Month

DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - May 12, 2008) - Two weeks ago, DC Brands International, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: DCBR) announced that some tweaking was necessary in the production process of their much anticipated release of the all new HARD Nutrition Functional Water Systems. Today, the company's Chief Procurement Officer Jeremy Alcamo said, "Getting the changes that are required may take up to 6 weeks to complete. These changes will allow us to fully automate the inline process. However, we simply cannot continue to wait for product. We have backorders piling up and have to get product out the door. Our production partners have created a manual capping line that will allow us to run and complete 10,000 - 12,000 bottles a day, everyday, which will start running on Thursday of this week."

Alcamo continues, "Within 12 days, these initial production runs will allow us to ship out backorders of our 'Get Over It' Hang Over Relief, Wide Awake Energy, Whacked Energy and our all new Podium Potion product, which was designed for extreme and endurance athletes. These products will fill backorders in Las Vegas, 4 distributors in California, and Hawaii. We will receive another shipment of our patent pending caps from China on the 28th of May and have another production run the following week. This run will allow us to ship an additional $200,000+ worth of product to other more recent distributors who have committed with us. We estimate we will need one more run two weeks later to get caught up on backorders, which will enable us to start filling new and repeat orders by the end of June. By that time, our automated line should be fully operational. This will allow us to get in to a steady production and fulfillment rhythm from then on."
