DC Brands International Announces May Sales

DENVER, CO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 23, 2006 --At the close of business Tuesday, DC Brands International, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: DCBI) announced what they say is the single best month of sales since the production problems that plagued them last year with over $130,000 booked so far in May. This is due to several factors not the least of which is the ability to actually deliver perfect products with no packaging defects, leeks or other problems. The company's President Dick Pearce said, "I am the first to say that $130,000 coming in from sales in a month is not exactly something to send rockets up about, but it sure beats refunding, canceling sales or replacing that much; like we have been doing since last summer. This last production run was 100% flawless, not one bad case."

The company's VP of Sales Richard Muscarella said, "You have to understand the rebuilding process that takes place when you are forced to pull products from the market place like we had to do in the past. We have to not only rebuild confidence in every link of the distribution chain, from our distributors to retailers to the consumers, but also in many cases, wait back in line for the retail shelves to open back up. So getting all of the production problems solved as we have is certainly very important. The current numbers show we are defiantly well on our way to working through the rebuilding process. I have an internal goal to double this monthly number within 3-4 months and continue to climb from there and we have the network in place now to do it."
