DC Brands Is a Hit at the NACS Tradeshow

DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - October 10, 2008) - Today, DC Brands International, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: DCBR) is proud to announce that they had yet another tremendously successful tradeshow this week. Right on the heels of a great showing at the Mr. Olympia bodybuilding show in Las Vegas, the company attended the annual N.A.C.S. Show (National Association of Convenience Stores) at the McCormick Center in Chicago. The company's new H.A.R.D. Nutrition Functional Water Systems stood out head and shoulders over all other products at the show. The majority of booths were representing industry bellwethers such as Coke, Pepsi, Red Bull, Kraft, Hershey's, Philip Morris, Oscar Myer and hundreds of others. For the most part, the vast majority of the remaining exhibitors consisted of a seemingly endless supply of Red Bull and Vitamin Water knock offs. Buyers today are burned out on "me-to products" and what's really new in processed cheese spreads and salted meats.

"We heard it over and over again. Nobody had anything that stood out like our products at the show," said Richard Pearce, the company's CEO. "The response showed it. We are combining a list of serious inquiries from the last two shows. We have weeded out the thousands of casual attendees and non-applicable leads down to some 150+ really serious people who showed genuine interest and spent time in our booth. We will be following up very diligently and there is certainly millions of dollars in business to be had. Now we have to focus like a laser and close the deals, which we will do."

Pearce continued, "Our follow up list consists of companies such as gym owners and supplement chains, to convenience and grocery stores, to big box stores and even some of our major competitors and industry leaders who took enormous interest in us. They spent literally hours talking with us about our groundbreaking products. Everyone will receive a follow up letter and a phone call by the end of next week and dozens of face to face appointments will be scheduled to turn interest into purchase orders."
