DC Brands Responds to WallStreetReporter.com Press Release

DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - September 21, 2007) - DC Brands International (PINKSHEETS: DCBI) was included in a release issued today by the WallStreetReporter.com with the headline: "From Medicine to Wellness." DC Brands President and CEO Richard Pearce was interviewed by the company a few months ago, though some of the quotes attributed to Pearce in today's release aren't completely accurate. DC Brands wanted to clarify.

Said Pearce, "We're always thrilled to be included on such highly-rated websites as WallStreetReporter.com, though we want to ensure the information represented is always factual. When I was interviewed, I said: 'We are well on our way through the development stage and expect the drinks to take off like crazy.' The release infers that this line has already launched, which it has not."

"It is true our next generation of drinks take a completely natural approach to solving many health and wellness issues including energy, focus, muscle building, immunity defense and more. As we stated previously, a critical piece of our puzzle will take place in China, and we expect only limited release by year's end."

Pearce will be meeting with several prominent doctors and researchers in conjunction with the new product line. Look for continual updates and more exciting news in the months to come.

About DC Brands International:

DC Brands International, a publicly traded company under the ticker symbol (PINKSHEETS: DCBI), specializes in and manufactures unique energy drink brands. Established in 1998, DC Brands went public in 2005, and the company's first product, Dickens Energy Cider, launched in 2002 after a lengthy process in developing its distinctive flavor and packaging. Following the success of Dickens Energy Cider, the company chose to expand its product line with a beverage that filled the substantial NASCAR niche. With more than 75 million loyal fans, the NASCAR demographic presented an attractive opportunity to become one of the few racecar-themed energy drinks in the marketplace. Following much due diligence, research and testing, Turn Left Energy Drink recently came to fruition.
