DC Brands' Turn Left Energy Drink Tested at King Soopers

DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - September 24, 2007) - DC Brands International (PINKSHEETS: DCBI) is excited to announce a new agreement with King Soopers. Owned by The Kroger Co., one of the nation's largest grocery retailers, King Soopers will be testing DC Brands' racecar-themed Turn Left Energy Drink in 35 of its largest stores in Colorado. Turn Left should hit King Soopers' shelves in about three to four weeks.

"This initial test lets us share our amazing growth with King Soopers," said DC Brands President & CEO Richard Pearce. "Turn Left fills a substantial niche in the energy drink category, and we're thrilled King Soopers recognized that. We hope the tests are as successful as we believe they will be and lead to future growth with the chain both regionally and nationally."

Pearce continued, "Our Vice President of Sales Jim Randall has been on board with DC Brands since mid-July, and in just a few months under his guidance, we have received entrée into King Soopers, Ingles and Walgreens. We knew his track record was impressive, but this is incredible. We look forward to additional growth and expansion with these and other big-name retailers."

About DC Brands International:

DC Brands International, a publicly traded company under the ticker symbol (PINKSHEETS: DCBI), specializes in and manufactures unique energy drink brands. Established in 1998, DC Brands went public in 2005, and the company's first product, Dickens Energy Cider, launched in 2002 after a lengthy process in developing its distinctive flavor and packaging. Following the success of Dickens Energy Cider, the company chose to expand its product line with a beverage that filled the substantial NASCAR niche. With more than 75 million loyal fans, the NASCAR demographic presented an attractive opportunity to become one of the few racecar-themed energy drinks in the marketplace. Following much due diligence, research and testing, Turn Left Energy Drink recently came to fruition.
