DCCA Awarded $60 Million Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Contract

Company to Provide Testing Across Multiple Medicare Claims Processing Systems

ELLICOTT CITY, MD--(Marketwired - Feb 24, 2015) - Data Computer Corporation of America (DCCA), a veteran-owned information technology services company, has been awarded a contract by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to serve as the Single Testing Contractor (STC). Under the contract, DCCA will provide technical support services to test the functionality across multiple Medicare Claims Processing Systems. The contract is for one base year with four option years and has a value of $60 million if all options are exercised.

"DCCA will leverage over 30 years of system modernization and testing experience in support of CMS," said DCCA Chief Executive Officer, David W. Bower. "We will implement state-of-the-art testing methodologies and technologies including complexity assessments, analytics, and security tools to ensure these CMS systems perform as expected in operational environments."

CMS is the largest purchaser of health care in the United States. The Medicare trust fund expenditures, through the claims processing systems and related CMS programs, channel one out of every three dollars in the health care market.

"Our testing processes are rooted in engaging closely with our customers, so that we are working from a clear understanding of their specific business and system requirements," added Bower. "We take pride in our ability to map our approach directly to the customer's requirements. We look forward to initiating our work with CMS."
