DCG Systems Appoints Paul Sakamoto Vice President and General Manager of Lab Business Group

FREMONT, CA--(Marketwire - Aug 16, 2011) - DCG Systems, the leading provider of semiconductor debug and characterization solutions, today announced the appointment of Paul Sakamoto as Vice President and General Manager of Labs Business Group. Mr. Sakamoto brings over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor and semiconductor equipment industry. He has had a number of notable roles including serving as President and CEO at Inovys Corporation, the structural ATE Company acquired by Verigy in 2008. In his new role, Paul will be responsible for all three lab-product lines, including the Circuit Analysis, Circuit Edit and nano-Instruments divisions.

Previously, Paul has held a variety of roles including President and CEO of DFT Microsystems, Inc., CEO at Inovys Corporation, Vice President, General Manager of the Memory Products Division at Credence Systems Corporation, and various sales and engineering positions including Vice President of Sales at MCT (Micro Component Technology), Director of Sales at Megatest Corporation and Product Engineering Manager at Intel Corporation.

Paul received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Oregon State University. He subsequently has received an Academy of Distinguished Engineers award in 2010 from his Alma Mater. He is also an active volunteer committee member at the Computer History Museum and an awards committee member at SEMI.
