DCT Introduces New Passport and Photo ID Product Bundle

DocketPORT 531U Captures High-Quality Images for Use in Security Applications

SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - Oct 25, 2012) - Document Capture Technologies (DCT), Inc. (OTCBB: DCMT), a leading provider of advanced imaging technologies for over a decade, is introducing the DocketPORT 531U, a new scanner software bundle designed specifically for passports and photo identification cards.

Compact in size, the DocketPORT 531U takes up little workspace area, making it ideal for busy offices and reception areas. It is bundled with Nuance PaperPort document management software, which enables the user to easily scan, organize, store, search and share documents. The bundle includes a "scan-to-cloud" capability that allows users to centrally store and share content.

"Many businesses today have heightened awareness of security requirements," said David Clark, CEO of DCT. "Our customers have been asking for a small footprint product that would enable them to capture high-quality images from passports and photo IDs. With the new DocketPORT 531U, ID images can be captured and then attached to a larger personnel record. This type of application can make the process of ID verification much more efficient."

The DCT DocketPORT 531U will be available worldwide in late November 2012.
