DDS Transit Unit Signs Major Contract With NYCT

Schedules conference call for 2008 Fourth Quarter and Year End Results

RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 6, 2009) - DDS Wireless International Inc. (TSX:DD) a leading provider of mobile data solutions for the taxi, transit, trucking, limousine and roadside assistance markets announced today that its Transit Business Unit, StrataGen Systems Inc. ("StrataGen") of Kirkland, WA was awarded a major contract with New York City Transit Authority ("NYCT"). The contract value is approximately C$ 700,000. As part of this contract StrataGen will provide further enhancements to its StrataGen Adept scheduling engine and new StrataGen modules. The modules, Site Tuner™ and Dispatch Alert™ will allow historic comparisons of previous dispatch schedules with new schedules to identify the optimal method of routing and scheduling the over 25,000 para-transit trips per day that the Authority schedules.
