DDS Wireless International Inc.: NYC Transit Authority Accepts Major StrataGen License Upgrade

Company to Report Audited 2007 Financial Results on March 26, 2008

RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 18, 2008) - DDS Wireless International Inc. (TSX:DD), a world leader in providing wireless data solutions for fleet management for over 20 years, today announced that its Transit Subsidiary, StrataGen Systems Inc. ("StrataGen"), acquired on December 7, 2007, reported that its largest customer, MTA New York City Transit ("NYC Transit"), one of the largest global para-transit operators, has provided formal acceptance for the major license upgrade delivered and recognized by StrataGen in 2007. This is marked by the receipt of the acceptance milestone payment.

"The acceptance of this industry leading major software license upgrade by the largest transit authority in North America is a testimony of the quality and performance of our ADEPT™ transit management solution," said Mike Nienhuis, President of StrataGen. "This new license upgrade enables NYC Transit to dispatch up to 50,000 jobs per day, to accommodate the increasing demand for, and complexity of, its variable transit fleet operation while providing strong service in its community."

This license upgrade comprises the majority of the contingent earn-out amount payable by DDS Wireless under the terms of its acquisition of StrataGen. Due to the satisfaction of this earn-out component, DDS Wireless will be issuing 646,555 common shares from treasury to the vendors of StrataGen, resulting in total outstanding shares now of 13,789,746 for the Company. These shares are restricted from trading until four months after the acquisition date of December 7, 2007.

"This is a symbolic milestone for DDS Wireless as it dilutes our major shareholder, Ghai Investments Ltd. ("GIL"), below the 50% mark which has been our stated goal towards improving liquidity and increasing the share float available," stated Mr. Vari Ghai, CEO of DDS Wireless and GIL.
