DDS Wireless International Inc.: Regional District of Nanaimo Chooses StrataGen's ADEPT™ Solution; Broward County Extends its ADEPT™ Functionality

RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 14, 2009) - DDS Wireless International Inc.'s (TSX:DD) transit business unit, StrataGen Systems Inc., announces that it has been awarded the contract to provide its industry leading dispatch, scheduling and routing solution to the Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) in Nanaimo, British Columbia. The RDN provides its HandyDART service to the elderly and persons with disabilities, allowing them to have access to health care, employment, education, shopping and recreation.

Under the contract, StrataGen will enable the RDN to increase its efficiency, capacity and safety by integrating its industry leading ADEPT™ scheduling software with DDS iMAX 8000™ MDCs, the next generation of in-vehicle computers, into a seamless paratransit solution.

"Customer service is key to the successful operation of the Nanaimo Regional Transit System," said Joe Stanhope, Chair of the Regional District of Nanaimo Board of Directors. "The ADEPT scheduling software will assist us in providing an efficient, streamlined travel experience for our many HandyDART clients."

"We look forward to partnering with the Regional District of Nanaimo, the second BC Transit agency to be using ADEPT™, as more agencies are realizing the efficiencies and integrated solutions that StrataGen can provide," said StrataGen Systems president, Matt Scheuing.

StrataGen Systems is also pleased to announce that Broward County of Florida has contracted StrataGen to significantly expand the functionality of its current ADEPT™ system with several new modules, including the addition of the Manage My Trips web booking system. This new interface will empower Broward's riders to book, view, update and cancel their trips themselves.

"Manage My Trips presents a new opportunity for both transit agencies and StrataGen to work together, enabling riders to look after their own trips and increase their ownership of the trip, while giving agencies more service options and reduced reliance on phone operations," commented Matt Scheuing.
