DDS Wireless Signs Customer Upgrades Valued at $1.1 Million

RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 13, 2010) - DDS Wireless International Inc. ("DDS" or "the Company") (TSX:DD) announces today that its Taxi Business Unit, Digital Dispatch Systems, has signed significant contracts with Waterloo Taxi of Waterloo, Ontario and San Gabriel Transit Inc. of El Monte, California. The projects include upgrades of each company's taxi dispatch systems to PathFinder™, the Company's latest, market leading, enterprise level taxi fleet management solution. The contracts also include deployment of the Company's newest Vector mobile data terminals to re-equip the fleets. The contracts have a combined value of more than $1.1 million, and represent the latest in over $9 million in customer upgrades for the Company's next generation technologies in 2010 alone.

Both long-time DDS customers and leaders in their markets, Waterloo Taxi and San Gabriel Transit have successfully utilized DDS technologies over many years to build their businesses.

These latest orders bring the Company's total sales and backlog for 2010 to just over $40 million, providing confidence in the ability to achieve its 2010 revenue guidance of $40 – 41 million. Final revenue for 2010 will be dependent on fulfillment of the current backlog and additional orders and shipments which may take place prior to the end of the year.
