DDS Wireless' Taxi Unit Signs $3.8 Million Contract to Upgrade European Customer

RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 30, 2011) - DDS Wireless International Inc. (TSX:DD) ("DDS" or "the Company") announces today that its Taxi business unit, Digital Dispatch Systems, has signed an important contract with Helsinki Taksi-Data Oy ("Helsinki Taxi") for the sale of the Company's Vector 9000™ mobile data terminals to replace a previous generation DDS system. Under the agreement, Helsinki Taxi will be upgrading its entire fleet. The contract has a value of $3.8 million.

The largest taxi operator in Finland, Helsinki Taxi is one of several leading European taxi companies that rely on DDS fleet management technologies. This group of customers includes Taxis G7 of Paris, Taxi Stockholm, SKT Copenhagen and Taxi Düsseldorf.

"DDS has proven itself over several years as a trusted and reliable partner," stated Eero Keinänen, Chairman of the Board of Helsinki Taksi-Data Oy. "We have been very pleased with the performance of the DDS products and services, and are convinced that the Vector 9000™ mobile data terminal is the best choice to meet the demanding needs of our taxi business."

"We are very pleased that Helsinki Taxi has again selected Digital Dispatch Systems to provide its in-vehicle technology. The use of industry-leading technology like the Vector 9000™ improves the efficiency of taxi drivers and supports Helsinki Taxi's customer service objectives," stated Patrick Nangle, President of Digital Dispatch Systems. "With many of our customers and prospective customers reaching the end of their technology lifecycles, we are very excited about the market prospects of our latest generation technologies."

The latest generation Vector 9000™ will provide Helsinki Taxi with advanced features and functionality such as Navigator Deluxe™ turn-by-turn navigation, high definition graphics, in-vehicle browser capability and touch screen technology. In addition, the greater processing power, expanded memory, and 3G wireless capabilities offered by the Vector 9000™ will enable Helsinki Taxi to further extend their system capabilities in the future.

The contract also provides for the negotiation of a seven year support and maintenance agreement to cover the newly purchased mobile data terminals and related software. Once completed, the expected multi-million dollar maintenance agreement will take effect after an initial warranty period expires.
