D&E Entertainment Is Distributing Iron Maiden's Award-Winning Film 'Flight 666' in HD Digital Cinemas Throughout the US

Multi-City, Multi-Show Sell Outs!

HOLLYWOOD, CA--(Marketwire - April 16, 2009) - D&E Entertainment, the leader in Theatrical Distribution and Marketing of Alternative Content, today announced the Theatrical Premiere of 'Iron Maiden: Flight 666' documenting the most adventurous tour in rock history. The amazing feature-length journey will be shown on over 450 HD digital screens, in 41 countries, for one day only on April 21st -- Maiden Day. Shows are selling out fast including 3 sold out screenings at Mann Chinese 6 in Hollywood, sold out show at Chelsea Cinemas in New York and many other cities.

'Iron Maiden: Flight 666' is a revealing portrait of one of the world's most successful rock bands in an entertaining and inspirational account of their chaotic lives during the infamous 45-day world tour, 'Somewhere Back in Time.' Considered to be the most ambitious and adventurous tour in rock history, Maiden journeys through 13 countries on their own "magic carpet," a customized Boeing 757 airliner carrying the entire tour, including stage, crew and twelve tons of equipment to 23 sold out shows in Asia, Australia and North, Central and South America.

The film won the "24 BEATS PER SECOND" award for best music documentary at the prestigious SXSW Film & Music Festival in Austin, Texas. This follows the band's recent win at the 2009 Brit Awards for Best British Live Act.

D&E's digital cinema presentation captures the spectacular live footage of the Maiden Voyage. Shot in pristine Hi-Def with superb 5.1 surround sound and projected in 2K digital cinemas, the highest quality in cinemas today -- the big screen debut will be the ultimate Maiden assault on the senses. Fans can experience an all access pass to shows, backstage banter, the exhaustion and fan pandemonium of traveling with band and crew.

Iron Maiden's Manager, Rod Smallwood, commented, "This film is a testament to an extraordinary tour and to our incredible fans all over the world. Seeing it on the big screen will make you feel like you were there on that spectacular journey."

D&E Entertainment's Evan Saxon stated, "As a fan of Iron Maiden since their first US tour, we are ecstatic to oversee the US Theatrical Distribution and Marketing for the film. We understand the needs of the artist and our network of Digital Cinema partners will give this film a presentation second to none."

Arts Alliance Media's Chief Executive Officer, Howard Kiedaisch, said, "'Flight 666' is the largest simultaneous worldwide release of a documentary film, made possible by the iconic appeal of Iron Maiden and by distribution with digital-only prints instead of 35mm. This is a digital cinema milestone, a massive achievement for AAM and all our exhibitor and distributor partners around the world."

'Iron Maiden: Flight 666' is a must-see for all Maiden fans, rock-music lovers and anyone interested in rock and what it is really like to tour at this level.
