DealerAccess Appoints Eric D. Jacobs as President

DealerAccess Expanding its Team to Meet Growing Needs

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 17, 2006) - DealerAccess Canada Inc., a leading technology solution provider to the automotive finance sector in Canada and an affiliate of DealerTrack Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:TRAK) (http://www.dealertrack.com), is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric D. Jacobs as President. David Trinder will continue in his role of CEO, DealerAccess, and will also serve as Senior Vice President, Network Solutions for DealerTrack, Inc., an affiliate of DealerAccess based in the United States. In addition, DealerAccess is pleased to announce the hiring of Ron Nakagawa as Director of Operations, Lindsey Brooker as Director, Marketing and Product Development, and John Henrick and Carol Pierson as Dealer Development representatives for Manitoba and Edmonton, respectively.

Mr. Jacobs has served as DealerTrack Holdings, Inc.'s Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary since 2002. Previous to his career at DealerTrack, he spent several years at the international law firm of O'Melveny & Myers LLP where he specialized in general corporate, mergers and acquisitions, and securities law. Prior to becoming an attorney, Eric was an audit manager at KPMG LLP. He holds a BS in Business Administration with a major in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Rider University and a JD, with honors, from the Rutgers School of Law-Newark. Eric is also a Certified Public Accountant.

DealerAccess has further expanded its management team by adding Ron Nakagawa as Director of Operations and Lindsey Brooker as Director, Marketing and Product Development. The business development team has also increased with John Henrick and Carol Pierson each joining as a Dealer Development Representative for the Manitoba and Edmonton territories, respectively.

Ron Nakagawa joins DealerAccess as Director of Operations and has over 18 years experience in the computer industry. Ron brings expertise in the design and implementation of customer centric processes. Prior to joining DealerAccess, Ron was Vice President, Operations at Selient Inc., and Vice President, Customer Center at InSystems Technologies Inc., where he was responsible for software services, front-line operations and the company's insurance industry, compliance line of business. Earlier in his career, Ron held a number of management and executive level positions in marketing, services and corporate development at Cybermation.

Lindsey Brooker joins DealerAccess as Director, Marketing and Product Development. Lindsey has over 20 years of automotive aftermarket and finance experience, having worked for leading aftermarket providers and several financial institutions in Canada and the UK. Throughout her career she has held positions in sales, marketing, product development and management. Recently, Lindsey held the position of Business Development Manager with one of the leading aftermarket providers in the power sport, marine, RV and heavy truck sectors.

John Henrick, Dealer Development Representative in the Manitoba territory, brings over 17 years of experience in sales and new business development, much of it in the automotive industry. He was previously working as a Regional Sales Manager serving automotive dealers.

Carol Pierson, Dealer Development Representative in the Edmonton territory, brings over 12 years of sales and management experience. She was previously with Mike Rosman RV sales as Business Manager, responsible for promoting extended service contracts, credit insurance and chemical products.
