Dean Evans & Associates Expands Partnerships, Product Line in 2Q

DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - July 14, 2010) - Dean Evans & Associates, Inc. (www.dea.com), maker of EMS software, announced today that it reached important milestones in the second quarter -- ending June 30 -- including the release of a new product, a continued increase in overall sales and the creation and strengthening of important partnerships.

DEA exceeded its own sales goals in the second quarter, generating 20 percent more revenue than in the same period of 2009. In addition to DEA's record-setting numbers, the facility scheduling and event management software company unveiled EMS Regics™. A combination of "registration" and "metrics," Regics empowers users to create, customize, manage and modify their online event registrations and customer surveys.

Forty-five new organizations became EMS clients, adding to the almost 4,000 clients DEA already serves. The company was also successful in its customer retention efforts, as EMS customers continued to renew their Annual Service Agreements at a rate of 96 percent in the second quarter.

DEA also achieved Gold Partner status in the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) in April. Oracle has recognized DEA for its commitment to helping higher education institutions become increasingly efficient, and the partnership will allow this customer-driven company to be even more responsive to higher education users' needs.

Working collaboratively with other companies and customers is a core value at DEA. In order to collect customer feedback, company executives and corporate EMS users gathered in New York City in April for the third DEA Corporate Summit. EMS users got personal attention from senior staff and also had the opportunity to interact with dozens of other DEA clients who are focused on running thriving businesses.

This year's Facilities and Services Benchmark Survey, an annual outreach effort to customers and potential clients, was deployed in June. It gives survey participants the opportunity to offer feedback specific to their use of EMS software. In turn, DEA compiles the results for survey participants and provides data that offers insights into best practices, trends and how to more effectively allocate resources in the future.

DEA will continue to move forward in the third quarter with its successful efforts to stay connected with customers. The company's annual EMS Users Conference will be held Sept. 26-29 in Denver, giving EMS users from a wide variety of organizations the opportunity to get in-person guidance from staff, attend educational sessions and network with fellow EMS users.
